Play with Materials

Two Verandas

The building was designed by the Swiss architect, Gus Wustemann. Materials used: raw concrete, oak and travertine.

Strata Hotel

Designed by Plasma Studios, Strata hotel is located in Sesto, Italy. It blend perfectly with the surrounding area due to the timber strips that cover the entire building.

Play in Architecture

The Sugamo Shinkin Bank designed by the Emmanuelle Moureaux Architecture and Design studio  is placed in Tokyo, Japan.
The colorful design from the exterior is brought into the interior design of the building as well.

Dri Dri by Elips Design

The coloured semi-circles on the facade of the shop represent the different flavours of ice-cream available. It makes a good advertising scheme as it adds a pop of colour to the area.










Wishbone restaurant by Shed


The design, including graffiti and agricultural elements was created to reflect the menu available. As the exterior walls are made of transparent glass, the bold interior design attracts the passers-by.

Nature Factory by Makoto Tanijiri


Diesel Denim Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. The installation has as a base plastic plumbing pipes and joints in order to create tree-like design inside the store.

The exhibition is made of painted MDF sheets. The vertical display panels have a steel base being bolted to the concrete floor.


Durasafe Store by Ministry of Design

The bright orange screens make the store attractive to customers. Atypically, there are no products displayed there.

An eye-catching design is created by using suspended vending machines instead of typically display cupboards.



Munich La Roca by Bailo and Rull ADD Arquitectura


The design plays with the idea of moving Munich’s factory inside the store. The conveyor belts rotate when necessary.


Weinhandlung Kreis by Furch Gestaltung & Production




Each display cube has slots for 25 bottles of wine and any type of bottle fits in. The grids are made of powder-coated steel.

Tang Palace by FCJZ


The restaurant from Hangzhou, China has a curved suspended ceiling made of bamboo strips.


The private rooms are at the second floor, above the decorative ceiling.

Ekko Installation by Thilo Frank





















The installation is places in northern Denmark. The loop of timber strips provides an interesting play with shadows and also with the sound produced by the steps of the visitors.
