Timber designs

Tang Palace by FCJZ


The restaurant from Hangzhou, China has a curved suspended ceiling made of bamboo strips.


The private rooms are at the second floor, above the decorative ceiling.

Ekko Installation by Thilo Frank





















The installation is places in northern Denmark. The loop of timber strips provides an interesting play with shadows and also with the sound produced by the steps of the visitors.

The project represents a permanent exhibition on sustainability for Volswagen's Autostadt visitors attraction.
The exhibition was executed from painted sheets of MDF, the vertical panels having a steel structure.
